People ultimately make the biggest difference, and all the staff at Scenic Suites Queenstown were exceptional. From reception to bar to housekeeping and every staff member we engaged with could not have been more friendly and helpful. It made us feel at home instantly. Our accommodation with the accompanying views was just perfect - very much above our expectations. Stay again? Yes, very much so.

I loved the room itself, and the setting in the lobby. It was all very lush. Staff were friendly, however unavailability of parking was out of their hands. They offered a late check out to compensate.

Had everything we needed - very basic utensils and kitchen equipment. Living & dining area had plenty of space. Bed was fine. Location was great, 2 min walk from town and right outside was a bus stop. Lots of different access ways to enter the building. Staff were nice. Overall, we had no complaints.

The perfect way to end our NZ trip! This was by far the most luxurious stay of our journey. The apartment was large, modern, and beautifully furnished, with a lake view from the balcony. The kitchen was excellent—equipped with a dishwasher, minibar fridge, oven, and even a coffee machine. The bathroom amenities were high-end, with bathrobes, slippers, and lovely toiletries. Heating worked flawlessly throughout the apartment, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were warm, helpful, and professional.

Location is excellent alone a short walk to Central Queenstown, although the walk back hill can be challenging. The room was spacious, light and had great views.

Can’t recommend enough. We were originally booked in at a different place nearby but weren’t happy with the room. Scenic suites were able to book us in straight away and give us a lovely room for a very reasonable price. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed and more - nice bathroom with bath and shower, balcony, lounge and dining area, full kitchen, washer and dryer, big TV, plenty of plates/cutlery etc. The place also went beyond to make you feel welcome, they had supplies for the laundry, extra key cards, even put a note through our door to remind us of the clocks changing ahead of time.

Central location, a short walk to restaurants etc. The double room had two comfortable beds and a decent sized bathroom. A balcony with a view of the Remarkables was nice. Unfortunately the hotel is let down by a poor restaurant, we booked for 7.30 and were told on arrival we would have to wait for 45 minutes because another party had arrived, and they couldn’t cope. So when the food eventually arrived it was of poor quality, a lamb rack with two mouthfuls of meat, a few fried potatoes broccoli and cauliflower. No apologys for the wait, needless to say we ate elsewhere for the rest of the stay.

I chose it for the cost per night, location and expectation that it will be scenic. Our room was spacious and service was great. The layout of the hotel was a tad confusing, but you get used to it. The hotel is up a hill which was great for exercise - no complaints there. The location was great that we did not need to use our car to the attractions that we wanted to see (except for Shotover jet and Onsen Pools).

Lovely big suite, I think we must have been upgraded cos I thought I only booked a room. But we had a whole bedroom with balcony, living room, kitchenette suite with washing machine and dryer. So much space! We loved it! Shower and bath - super clean. Good shower pressure and hot water. 3rd floor and lovely view. Everything walking distance. Depending on which room you get, you might be able to get in one of the fire exits instead of walking all the way to the front entrance everytime.

We stayed in : Superior Super split king room............., very spacious...........clean.........with all the modern facilities.. Location is good............close proximity to cafes/ Restaurants/ Bars/ Bus stops etc...... However Hotel is in a Hill, hence coming back ( By walking ), last 100 meters can be challenging for some seniors.. Room service breakfast ( $ 20 ) is value for money !!
